Lamborghini Espada prima serie, 1969, telaio 7213, motore di primo equipaggiamento, colori d'origine.

Venduta nuova in Italia, attualmente immatricolata in Lussemburgo.

La prima serie è la più rara e la più caratteristica delle Espada, con cruscotto a esagoni e cerchi con gallettone sporgente comuni alla Miura.

L’auto in questione è stata acquistata dall’attuale proprietario nel 2018 con l’intenzione di utilizzarla di frequente anche per viaggi lunghi. A questo proposito ha commissionato una serie di lavori atti a renderla perfettamente fruibile e affidabile, e a fare in modo che funzioni tutto inclusa l’aria condizionata. L’elenco dei lavori include:

 

- revisione completa motore con modifica guidavalvole (provato al banco ha erogato una potenza superiore rispetto a quella dichiarata dalla casa)

- revisione competa carburatori

- revisione impianto di accensione compresi calotta spinterogeno, cavi alta tensione, puntine e condensatori

- revisione completa cambio (sincronizzatori e scorrevoli)

- revisione ciclistica con sostituzione ammortizzatori, boccole sospensioni e testine tiranteria sterzo

- revisione impianto frenante

- revisione impianto aria condizionata con sostituzione compressore

- revisione impianto elettrico con sostituzione fanalerie e motorini alzavetro

- sostituzione di tutti i fluidi e i filtri

- pneumatici nuovi Michelin di tipo e misura corretti

 

Dove possibile sono stati usati ricambi originali, non riproduzioni.

La carrozzeria è stata interamente riverniciata nel colore d’origine, portando a lamiera l’abbassamento ed effettuando piccoli risanamenti dove necessario. Sono state sostituite diverse guarnizioni e sono stati rigenerati gli ammortizzatori del portellone posteriore.

L’interno originale è stato restaurato alla perfezione da La Perfetta di Padova. Si è reso necessario ritappezzare i due sedili anteriori, commissionando la pelle del colore corrispondente e realizzando le fustelle per le traforature. I tappeti sono nuovi, realizzati con moquette in lana conforme all’originale, con retro in juta e battitacco della carrozzeria Marazzi (le Espada prima serie venivano realizzate da Marazzi così come le lslero e le Jarama).

La cura prestata ai particolari in fase di lavorazione è evidenziata dalle marcature Fiaam Filter sui coperchi delle casse filtro aria, serigrafate come in origine e non adesive.

The series one is the rarest and most characteristic of the Espadas, with hexagonal-shaped dashboard and eared-spinner wheels, the same used on the Miura.

This car has been purchased by the current owner in 2018 with the intention of using it frequently, even for long journeys. At this purpose, he commissioned a series of works to make the car perfectly usable and reliable, and to make sure that everything works as it should.

The list of works includes:

 

- complete engine overhaul with valve guide modification (tested on the bench it delivers a higher power respect of that declared by the manufacturer)

- complete carbs overhaul

- ignition system overhaul including new distributor cap, HT leads, contact brakers and condensers

- complete gearbox overhaul with new synchronizers and sleeves

- suspensions overhaul including new shock absorbers, bushes and tie rod ends

- braking system overhaul

- air conditioning system overhaul including new compressor

- electrical system overhaul including new headlamps and window winding motors

- replacement of all the fluids and filters

- new Michelin tires of correct type and size

 

Original parts have been used where available (not reproductions).

The bodywork has been completely repainted in the original colour, bringing the lower part to bare metal and carrying out small restorations where necessary. Several seals have been replaced and the tailgate dampers regenerated. The original interior has been perfectly restored by La Perfetta in Padua. It has been necessary to re-upholster the front seats, commissioning the leather of the matching colour and making the punches for the perforations. The carpets are new, made in wool like the originals, with jute back and rubber heel mat with Carrozzeria Marazzi logo (the Espada series one was made by Marazzi in Caronno, like the Islero and the Jarama).

The care paid for details during restoration is highlighted by the Fiaam Filter marking on the air filter boxes, screen-printed as originally and not adhesive.

The car is supplied with two complete sets of keys.
